The XXVII International Congress of Bioacoustics (IBAC) took place at the University of Sussex in Brighton, England, from August 31st to 5 September 5th 2019. IBAC was founded in 1969 to promote the international dissemination of specialized bioacoustic research. Bioacoustics is the study of biological sounds, combining biology and physical acoustics. Biologists from different disciplines were present (ethologists, physiologists, ecologists, taxonomists...). The first Audiolog prototype was presented to the scientific community for the first time during this show. Numerous exchanges allowed us to learn more about researchers' expectations in terms of tracking technologies. All the discussions and remarks were considered by our team in order to evolve our technologies and thus make them ever more adapted in academic research.
